Restaurant Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Opening Leadership:
    • Collaborate with the senior management team to set up restaurant operations, including staffing, training, and establishing operational procedures.
    • Oversee the design and setup of the restaurant, ensuring alignment with China Tang’s luxury brand standards.
  • Team Management and Training:
    • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of hospitality professionals to deliver top-notch service.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging team growth and excellence.
  • Guest Experience Excellence:
    • Ensure every guest receives an exceptional dining experience by upholding service standards.
    • Handle guest feedback with professionalism, resolving any concerns promptly.
  • Operational Oversight:
    • Manage daily restaurant operations, including reservations, table management, and service flow.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as local licensing requirements.
  • Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure profitability.
    • Analyze sales reports and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Menu Development Support:
    • Collaborate with the culinary team to refine the menu and ensure a perfect synergy between food and service.
    • Stay updated on industry trends to innovate and enhance the guest experience.
  • Brand Representation:
    • Uphold and promote China Tang’s reputation for luxury and authenticity in the Dubai market.
    • Act as the face of the restaurant, representing the brand at industry events and networking opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager in a fine dining or luxury hospitality setting.
  • Key Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and revenue management.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Proficient in restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
