Hilltop Gardens Retirement Village is looking for a Demi Chef De Partie to join their kitchen brigade.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the production, preparation, and presentation of all food items to ensure the highest quality at all times, including the employees’ restaurant
  • Establish and maintain effective employee relations and interdepartmental working relationships
  • Continuously liaise closely with the Chef de Partie to take care and control the section
  • Conduct on-the-job training sessions with the Commis Chefs
  • Provide optimal customer experience through conflict resolution, creativity and consistently working proactively in delivering high-quality results and providing thoughtful and anticipatory service.

Requirements:

  • A good standard of education and being computer literate
  • Resident-oriented with a customer service mindset
  • Have previous experience in a similar role
  • Willing and able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Currently residing in Malta
