Job Overview: Conrad Dubai is seeking a skilled and passionate Chef De Partie to join our culinary team. The Chef De Partie will be responsible for a specific section of the kitchen, preparing high-quality dishes, and ensuring smooth operations within their designated area.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present high-quality dishes within the designated section.
- Assist the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in menu planning and development.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff to ensure high culinary standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Monitor and control stock levels, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Stay updated with the latest culinary trends and techniques.
- Handle guest inquiries and special requests related to the culinary section.
- Participate in kitchen inspections and maintain accurate records as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or similar role in a high-end hotel or restaurant.
- Strong culinary skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
