Electrical Engineer – Aluminum Smelter Brownfield

Electrical Engineer Job Description: We are seeking experienced site personnel for a key role with an Aluminum Production company, specializing in the aluminum smelter Brownfield area. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safety procedures and a proven track record in managing electrical construction projects.

Location: Abu Dhabi, Al Taweelah
Monthly Salary: AED 20,375
Duration: 12 Months (with potential for extension based on performance and project availability)

Key Responsibilities
-Oversee and manage various electrical construction projects on-site, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
-Lead cross-functional teams of electricians, contractors, and subcontractors, facilitating efficient coordination and high-quality workmanship.
-Collaborate closely with the Contractor’s engineering and project teams to evaluate and implement upgrades, modifications, or replacements of electrical and automation equipment at the site.
-Conduct regular site inspections to verify the quality and progress of electrical and mechanical installations.
-Review and advise on fabrication, shop drawings, and material submittals from contractors.
-Ensure the safety and quality of assigned projects, managing risks effectively.

**Qualifications**
-Qualified education (degree/diploma) in Electrical Engineering.
-Proficiency in contract and project management.
-Experience managing and supervising electrical construction projects at the site.
-Knowledge of Reduction Potlines and associated equipment.
-Familiarity with crane systems.
-Strong leadership and communication skills.
