Chef de Partie (CDP) The Host, Al Ain
Position Summary: The (CDP) Chef de Partie will lead a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., grill, pantry, pastry) and ensure consistent food quality, hygiene, and smooth kitchen operations. This is a key role in supporting the Sous Chef and mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and execute food preparation for your section
Maintain consistency in presentation, taste, and hygiene
Ensure all mise en place is prepared ahead of service
Train and guide Demi CDPs and Commis
Coordinate with other kitchen sections for timely service
Comply with HACCP and food safety standards
Monitor stock levels and communicate needs to the Sous Chef
Requirements:
3–5 years of culinary experience in upscale or all-day dining
Culinary diploma or relevant certification
Expertise in handling a designated kitchen station
Leadership and time management skills
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food costing
👨🍳 Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP)

Position Summary:
As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will assist the CDP in running a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring all prep, cooking, and service activities are carried out to high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with food prep and cooking in assigned kitchen section
Follow recipes and presentation standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Support Commis chefs and communicate clearly with CDP
Report any maintenance or stock issues promptly
Uphold kitchen safety and hygiene protocols
Requirements:
2–3 years of kitchen experience
Culinary training or equivalent experience
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of food safety practices
Commis Chef (Commis I/II/III)

Position Summary:
The Commis Chef assists in food preparation under the supervision of the CDP or DCDP. This is a learning and growth role, ideal for those beginning their culinary career.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients, sauces, and garnishes as directed
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and equipment
Ensure timely preparation and plate-up during service
Follow kitchen SOPs and food safety guidelines
Take part in kitchen deep cleaning and stock rotation
Requirements:
1–2 years of culinary experience or internship
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
Understanding of basic cooking techniques
Willingness to work varied shifts and support the team
Kitchen Steward

Position Summary:
The Kitchen Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, ensuring a hygienic environment for food production.
Key Responsibilities:
Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, and utensils
Clean kitchen equipment, floors, and work surfaces
Manage waste disposal and keep the back-of-house tidy
Support kitchen staff with deliveries and stock organization
Follow HACCP, hygiene, and safety procedures
Requirements:
Prior experience as steward or janitorial role preferred
Ability to handle physical workload and long hours
Attention to detail and team-oriented attitude
Understanding of kitchen hygiene protocols
