Travel Desk Executive Job Description:

As a Travel Desk Executive, you will be responsible for assisting clients with their travel arrangements, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring smooth travel experiences for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service:
    • Assist clients with travel inquiries, itinerary planning, and booking reservations for flights, hotels, rental cars, and other travel services.
    • Provide personalized recommendations and advice to clients based on their travel preferences and requirements.
    • Handle inquiries and resolve issues or concerns related to travel arrangements in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Reservation Management:
    • Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and other travel vendors to secure reservations and confirmations for clients.
    • Manage bookings, changes, and cancellations according to company policies and procedures.
    • Ensure accuracy and completeness of travel documents and itineraries.
  3. Travel Coordination:
    • Arrange transportation, accommodations, and activities for individual travelers, groups, and corporate clients.
    • Coordinate with tour operators and local suppliers to organize guided tours, excursions, and other travel experiences.
    • Provide support and assistance to clients during their travels, including resolving any issues or emergencies that may arise.
  4. Documentation and Record-Keeping:
    • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, bookings, and payments in the reservation system.
    • Prepare and distribute travel documents, including tickets, vouchers, and itineraries, to clients.
    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies regarding travel documentation and data protection.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Previous experience in travel coordination, reservations, or customer service roles is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in travel reservation systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of travel destinations, airlines, and travel regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • UAE-based candidates are preferred.
