Sales Manager – Hotel Excelsior Venice Lido Resort

Position Overview: Hotel Excelsior Venice Lido Resort is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and maximizing sales opportunities through proactive sales strategies and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and action plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  2. Client Acquisition: Identify and target key market segments and potential clients, actively prospecting and acquiring new business opportunities.
  3. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their needs and preferences to provide customized solutions and exceptional service.
  4. Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective clients, showcasing the unique value proposition of Hotel Excelsior Venice Lido Resort.
  5. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats, leveraging insights to inform sales strategies and decision-making.
  6. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal departments, including revenue management, marketing, and operations, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives and ensure seamless execution of client commitments.
  7. Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to build brand awareness, expand professional networks, and generate leads.
  8. Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze sales data, and generate reports to track progress against targets, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales roles within the hospitality industry, with a focus on hotel sales and group bookings.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and best practices, with the ability to drive results in a competitive market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in sales CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant sales tools and technologies.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed for client meetings, presentations, and industry events.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
