Restaurant Manager – Hotel Excelsior Venice Lido Resort
Position Overview: Hotel Excelsior Venice Lido Resort is seeking a skilled and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our dining operations. As the Restaurant Manager, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant management, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and profitability.
- Operational Leadership: Provide hands-on leadership and supervision to the restaurant team, including servers, hosts, bartenders, and support staff, ensuring high standards of service delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Guest Experience: Create a welcoming and memorable dining experience for guests, anticipating their needs, addressing concerns, and maintaining a positive atmosphere throughout the restaurant.
- Staff Training and Development: Recruit, train, and mentor restaurant staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement, and promoting professional growth and development.
- Menu Planning and Execution: Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and execute innovative and appealing menu offerings, ensuring quality, consistency, and profitability.
- Inventory and Cost Control: Monitor inventory levels, food and beverage costs, and operational expenses, implementing cost-effective measures to optimize profitability while maintaining quality standards.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, implementing and enforcing standard operating procedures to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for guests and staff.
- Sales and Revenue Generation: Drive sales and revenue growth through effective marketing initiatives, upselling strategies, and promotional activities, maximizing revenue opportunities while controlling costs.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, soliciting feedback, addressing concerns, and fostering loyalty and repeat business.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in restaurant management roles, with a track record of success in delivering exceptional dining experiences and driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team to achieve common goals.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities, with a focus on building rapport and exceeding guest expectations.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, inventory management, and POS systems.
- Understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the demands of the hospitality industry.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
