Reservation Agent – Soho Garden Dubai

As a Reservation Agent, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for handling reservations and inquiries efficiently and providing exceptional customer service to our guests. The Reservation Agent plays a key role in ensuring smooth operations and maximizing revenue through effective reservation management and guest communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Receive and process reservation requests via phone, email, and online booking platforms promptly and accurately.
  2. Provide information about hotel facilities, services, room types, rates, and special promotions to guests clearly and concisely.
  3. Assist guests in selecting appropriate accommodations based on their preferences, needs, and availability.
  4. Input and update reservation details in the property management system (PMS) accurately, ensuring all guest information is complete and up-to-date.
  5. Coordinate with other departments, such as housekeeping and front desk, to ensure seamless guest experiences from reservation to check-out.
  6. Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests courteously and professionally, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  7. Monitor room availability and make adjustments to reservations as needed to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  8. Confirm reservation details with guests prior to their arrival and provide necessary information, including check-in procedures and amenities.
  9. Assist with group bookings and coordination, including room blocks, event planning, and catering arrangements.
  10. Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and no-shows, and generate reports as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Reservation Agent or in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
  2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  3. Strong customer service orientation and ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
  4. Proficiency in using reservation management systems and booking software; experience with Opera PMS is preferred.
  5. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  6. Familiarity with hotel operations, room types, rates, and policies.
  7. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
  9. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in hospitality is a plus.
