Recreation Supervisor – Ayla Hotels & Resorts Al Ain

Job Description:

As a Recreation Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all recreational activities and facilities within the hotel premises. Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

1. Activity Planning: Developing and organizing a diverse range of recreational programs and activities suitable for guests of all ages and interests, including sports tournaments, fitness classes, arts and crafts workshops, and cultural events.
2. Facility Management: Ensuring the proper maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of all recreational facilities, including swimming pools, fitness centers, sports courts, and play areas, in compliance with health and safety regulations.
3. Guest Engagement: Interacting with guests to understand their preferences and interests, promoting recreational activities and facilities, and providing assistance and guidance as needed to enhance their overall experience.
4. Team Leadership: Supervising and motivating a team of recreation staff, including activity coordinators, lifeguards, fitness instructors, and sports coaches, to deliver exceptional service and ensure seamless operation of all recreational programs.
5. Safety and Compliance: Enforcing safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries, conducting regular inspections of equipment and facilities, and implementing emergency procedures when necessary to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.

Requirements:

• Proven working experience in a similar role within the hospitality or leisure industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Comprehensive knowledge of recreational activities, sports, and wellness programs.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and procedures related to recreational facilities and activities.
• Must be based within the United Arab Emirates and eligible to work in the country.
