Terracotta Inc. is seeking a skilled and professional Receptionist to join our team. The Receptionist will be responsible for handling front desk operations and providing administrative support to the office. Receptionist Job Description

Skills and Requirements:

  • Experience in construction and contracting.
  • Nationality: Sri Lankan, Filipino, Indian, Nepali.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Greet and welcome visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
  2. Answer and direct incoming phone calls to appropriate personnel.
  3. Maintain a tidy and organized reception area, ensuring it reflects a professional image.
  4. Manage incoming and outgoing mail and courier packages.
  5. Schedule appointments and meetings, and maintain calendars for executives and staff.
  6. Assist with general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
  7. Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for staff and visitors.
  8. Monitor office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
  9. Assist with organizing company events, meetings, and conferences.
  10. Provide administrative support to various departments as required.
  11. Ensure compliance with office policies and procedures, including security protocols.
  12. Handle inquiries and provide information to clients, vendors, and staff members.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and documents.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by management.


  • Previous experience in construction and contracting is preferred.
  • Nationality: Sri Lankan, Filipino, Indian, Nepali.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
  • Knowledge of office equipment, such as multi-line phone systems and fax machines, is an advantage.
