Reception and Reservations Manager Job Description:

As the Reception and Reservations Manager, you will oversee the front desk operations and reservations department to ensure seamless guest experiences and efficient management of bookings.


  1. Manage and supervise the reception team to ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction.
  2. Oversee the reservations department and handle booking inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
  3. Monitor room availability and manage reservation systems to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  4. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth check-ins and check-outs for guests.
  5. Train, mentor, and motivate front desk and reservations staff to maintain high standards of professionalism and performance.
  6. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for front desk and reservations operations.
  7. Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively to ensure positive guest experiences.
  8. Maintain accurate records of guest bookings, payments, and special requests.
  9. Prepare reports on occupancy rates, revenue, and guest feedback for management review.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to make strategic decisions and improvements.


  1. Proven experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant environment.
  2. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in hospitality management or related field.
  3. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  5. Proficiency in reservation software and MS Office applications.
  6. Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations with composure.
  7. Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  8. UAE-based candidates or those eligible to work in Dubai will be given preference.
