Job Description: Crowne Plaza Dubai Deira is seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious pastries, desserts, and baked goods that delight our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and execute a variety of pastry and dessert items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Decorate pastries and desserts creatively to enhance their visual appeal.
  • Maintain inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies, and place orders as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards in the pastry kitchen.
  • Train and supervise pastry team members to ensure consistent quality and productivity.
  • Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to develop new pastry recipes and menu items.
  • Monitor pastry production to minimize waste and control costs.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
  • Creative flair and passion for pastry arts.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
