Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Description: Sharjah Palace Hotel is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the cleanliness and upkeep of our hotel rooms and public areas. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and prior experience in hotel housekeeping.

Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

Location: Sharjah Palace Hotel, Sharjah, UAE

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff.
• Ensure that guest rooms, corridors, and public areas meet hotel cleanliness standards.
• Inspect rooms and common areas for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and compliance with hotel policies.
• Train and mentor housekeeping team members to maintain high service standards.
• Manage inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies and linen.
• Respond to guest requests and ensure a positive guest experience.
• Report maintenance issues to the engineering department.
• Maintain records of room occupancy, cleaning schedules, and staff performance.

Requirements:

✅ Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role in a hotel.
✅ Strong leadership and organizational skills.
✅ Knowledge of cleaning techniques, hygiene standards, and housekeeping equipment.
✅ Ability to train and motivate a team.
✅ Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
✅ Basic communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
✅ Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
