Position Overview: Hotel Excelsior Venice Lido Resort is seeking a talented and experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team. As the Housekeeping Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of our resort, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership: Lead, train, motivate, and supervise the housekeeping team, ensuring high levels of performance, productivity, and morale.
  2. Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of housekeeping operations, including room cleaning, public area maintenance, laundry services, and inventory management.
  3. Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation throughout the resort, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  4. Guest Satisfaction: Ensure prompt and efficient response to guest requests, concerns, and complaints related to housekeeping services, striving to exceed guest expectations.
  5. Budgeting and Resource Management: Prepare and manage the housekeeping budget, monitor expenses, and optimize resource utilization to achieve cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  6. Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to housekeeping staff, promoting excellence in service delivery, safety protocols, and teamwork.
  7. Supplier and Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of cleaning supplies, equipment, and services.
  8. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations, implementing procedures to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort environment.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in housekeeping operations, including cleaning techniques, equipment usage, and laundry procedures.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to housekeeping operations.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
