FM Engineer – Uniestate Properties

We are looking for a skilled and knowledgeable FM Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive project plans, coordinating with various departments to effectively allocate resources, and maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair activities. You will also review quotations for paid services, generate progress reports, ensure safety compliance, and conduct regular facility inspections.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field. You should possess excellent knowledge in facilities engineering and renovation works, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Additionally, strong people management skills are essential for this role.

Job Title: FM Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Comprehensive Project Plans: Outline objectives, timelines, and milestones to manage facilities projects efficiently.
  • Coordinate Resource Allocation: Work with various departments to allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal project outcomes within budget and schedule constraints.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair activities, along with associated expenses.
  • Review Quotations for Paid Services: Evaluate service quotations to ensure competitive and fair pricing.
  • Generate Progress Reports: Create regular progress reports and performance metrics to track project milestones and outcomes.
  • Ensure Safety Compliance: Equip all facilities with necessary safety equipment and train staff on proper usage.
  • Conduct Regular Inspections: Perform routine inspections of facilities to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: In Civil Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
  • Expert Knowledge: In Facilities Engineering and renovation works.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and team management.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to facilities management.
  • People Management: Proven ability to manage and lead teams effectively.
