Key Responsibilities:

  1. Guest Greeting: Welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor. Open doors and assist guests with luggage as needed.
  2. Assistance: Provide assistance to guests with inquiries, directions, and transportation arrangements. Offer information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
  3. Security: Maintain a vigilant presence at the hotel entrance to ensure the safety and security of guests and property. Monitor the arrival and departure of guests and report any suspicious activity or security concerns to the appropriate authorities.
  4. Traffic Control: Manage traffic flow at the hotel entrance, especially during peak hours or events. Coordinate with valet parking staff to ensure smooth operation of the parking area.
  5. Luggage Handling: Assist guests with the loading and unloading of luggage from vehicles. Handle luggage carefully and ensure it is delivered promptly to the guest’s room.
  6. Courtesy Services: Offer umbrellas to guests during inclement weather. Provide assistance with taxis and transportation services.
  7. Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with guests and colleagues. Relay any special requests or concerns to the appropriate department.
  8. Appearance: Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times. Wear the designated uniform and adhere to grooming standards set by the hotel.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a welcoming attitude.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry luggage as needed.
  • Knowledge of local attractions and amenities is an advantage.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
