Demi Chef de Partie – Royal Continental Hotel & Suites, Dubai
Royal Continental Hotel & Suites, Dubai, is looking for a talented Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) with 3-4 years of experience in international cuisine to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will assist the Chef de Partie in managing their section and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chef de Partie in the preparation and presentation of international cuisine.
- Oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
- Prepare ingredients, cook meals, and plate dishes according to recipes and standards.
- Supervise and guide Commis Chefs within the section.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
- Ensure all food items are stored properly and adhere to food safety regulations.
- Contribute to the development of new dishes and menus.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of relevant experience as a Demi Chef de Partie in an international cuisine environment.
- Must be currently residing in the UAE.
- Strong culinary skills with a passion for international flavors and techniques.
- Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
