Chef de Partie – Hotel Excelsior Venice Lido Resort
Position Overview: Hotel Excelsior Venice Lido Resort is seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. The Chef de Partie will play a key role in maintaining the culinary standards and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook dishes according to standardized recipes and specifications under the guidance of the Sous Chef and Executive Chef.
- Station Management: Oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that all food items are prepared, cooked, and presented to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
- Menu Execution: Assist in menu planning and development, contributing innovative ideas and creative solutions to enhance the culinary offerings of the resort.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the culinary team to coordinate food preparation, timing, and presentation, ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of food products, equipment, and work areas to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with food safety regulations.
- Training and Development: Provide guidance and support to Commis Chefs and kitchen apprentices, sharing knowledge and skills to foster their professional growth and development.
- Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing culinary demands, guest preferences, and special dietary requirements.
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in a reputable hotel, restaurant, or resort environment.
- Proficiency in a wide range of culinary techniques, cuisines, and cooking methods, with a focus on creativity and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with colleagues across all departments.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the operational needs of the resort.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
