Batching Plant Senior Inspector – Bureau Veritas, Saudi Arabia

Bureau Veritas, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification services, is seeking a highly experienced Batching Plant Senior Inspector to join our team in Saudi Arabia. As part of our Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) division, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of batching plant operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 8 to 10 years of relevant experience for Inspectors, with over 12 years of experience for senior roles, including a minimum of 5-9 years in QA/QC.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is mandatory.

Batching Plant Senior Inspector Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive inspections and audits of batching plants to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  2. Oversee and evaluate the implementation of full Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures, including ISO standards, within batching plant operations.
  3. Provide leadership and technical expertise to the inspection team, guiding junior inspectors and ensuring consistency in inspection methodologies.
  4. Assess and verify the quality of materials, processes, and equipment used in batching operations, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  5. Investigate and address non-conformities, deficiencies, and deviations from quality standards, implementing corrective actions and preventive measures as necessary.
  6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve quality-related issues and promote continuous improvement in batching plant performance.
  7. Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports of inspection findings, test results, and compliance activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification or advanced training in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and inspection techniques.
  • In-depth knowledge of concrete production processes, materials testing, and construction industry practices.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
