Flaky Pastry Dubai is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations and ensure a high-quality customer experience.

The ideal candidate will assist the Store Manager in overseeing the store’s performance, managing staff, and maintaining operational standards. This role is perfect for someone with strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for bakery products.

Assistant Store Manager Key Responsibilities:

  1. Store Operations Support:
    • Assist in managing the daily operations of the store, ensuring a smooth, efficient workflow.
    • Oversee inventory management, including stock levels and ordering supplies as needed.
    • Ensure all products are displayed attractively and in alignment with Flaky Pastry’s brand standards.
  2. Customer Service Excellence:
    • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally and promptly.
    • Uphold and promote a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for customers.
    • Handle customer feedback, ensuring quick resolution of issues and satisfaction with service and products.
  3. Staff Supervision and Training:
    • Assist in hiring, training, and developing a motivated team of store associates.
    • Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and monitor team performance, providing guidance and support as needed.
    • Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high morale.
  4. Sales and Financial Management:
    • Assist in tracking daily sales and maintaining accurate records of transactions.
    • Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and contributing to overall store profitability.
    • Conduct basic financial tasks such as cash handling, reconciliations, and reporting sales figures.
  5. Health & Safety Compliance:
    • Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly followed in the store.
    • Conduct regular checks on equipment and facilities to maintain a safe, clean working environment.
    • Train staff on safety protocols, ensuring everyone is compliant with store policies.

Assistant Store Manager Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in a retail or hospitality environment, with some supervisory experience preferred.
  • Customer-Focused: Strong customer service skills with a passion for creating a positive guest experience.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate, train, and support a team effectively.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to manage daily operations.
  • Financial Acumen: Basic understanding of financial processes, including cash handling and sales reporting.
