The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring a lively, welcoming atmosphere that aligns with our brand’s vibrant identity. This role requires an experienced and dynamic individual with strong management skills, financial acumen, and a stylish, energetic presentation that reflects the brand’s unique appeal.
Assistant Restaurant Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Support:
- Assist in managing the restaurant’s day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality service and efficiency.
- Oversee staff schedules, inventory management, and vendor orders to maintain smooth workflow.
- Enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Guest Relations:
- Help deliver an outstanding guest experience by creating a welcoming environment and maintaining high standards.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues, ensuring prompt and effective solutions.
- Gather guest feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and elevate service quality.
- Team Leadership:
- Support the Restaurant Manager in recruiting, training, and mentoring staff to foster a motivated, productive team.
- Organize and delegate tasks to team members, ensuring efficient staffing levels during shifts.
- Provide performance feedback, coaching, and development opportunities for team growth.
- Financial Responsibilities:
- Assist with budget planning, cost management, and monitoring expenses to support revenue targets.
- Collaborate on financial reporting, including revenue analysis and cost control strategies.
- Support the Restaurant Manager in implementing revenue-boosting initiatives and controlling overhead.
- Brand Representation:
- Maintain a funky, stylish appearance that aligns with the brand’s vibrant, energetic atmosphere.
- Ensure the team reflects the brand’s personality through positive interactions and consistent service.
Assistant Restaurant Manager Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years in a similar role in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in restaurant operations, with a solid understanding of management practices.
- Appearance: Funky, stylish presentation that reflects the brand’s culture.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of budgeting, revenue management, and financial planning.
