Assistant Restaurant Manager Job Description

- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and exceptional guest experiences.
- Supervise restaurant staff and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating team members to maintain high service standards.
- Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to develop and implement strategies to drive revenue and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.
- Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Help create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and employee morale.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of financial management principles and ability to assist with budgeting and cost control.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and restaurant operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
