We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced HSE Head – Catering Operations to oversee and manage safety standards across our catering facilities. Role Overview: HSE Head – Catering Operations

The HSE Head is responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing health, safety, and environmental programs

  • Ensuring full compliance with UAE food safety and labor laws

  • Leading safety audits, risk assessments, and staff training

  • Building a strong culture of safety and sustainability

This role requires strong leadership, in-depth regulatory knowledge, and proven experience in catering or hospitality operations in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

As the HSE Head at Procat Catering, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Policy Development – Design and implement company-wide HSE policies and procedures.

  2. Regulatory Compliance – Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations, HACCP, and ISO 22000 standards.

  3. Risk Assessment – Identify potential hazards in catering operations and implement preventive measures.

  4. Training & Awareness – Conduct regular staff training on food safety, occupational safety, and emergency response.

  5. Incident Management – Investigate accidents, prepare reports, and ensure corrective actions are taken.

  6. Emergency Preparedness – Develop and lead fire drills, evacuation plans, and crisis management exercises.

  7. Waste Management & Sustainability – Implement eco-friendly practices and ensure responsible disposal of food waste.

  8. Audit & Inspections – Carry out routine audits and inspections of kitchens, warehouses, and catering sites.

  9. Collaboration – Work with operations, procurement, and culinary teams to maintain safe practices across departments.

  10. Reporting – Maintain accurate HSE documentation and report to senior management on safety performance.

  11. Continuous Improvement – Stay updated on international HSE trends and recommend process improvements.

  12. Culture Building – Promote a culture of safety and accountability across the workforce.

Candidate Requirements

To qualify for the HSE Head role, candidates must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field

  • Professional HSE certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent)

  • Minimum 7–10 years of HSE experience (at least 3 years in catering, hospitality, or F&B operations in the UAE)

  • Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws, food safety regulations, HACCP, and ISO 22000

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and training skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple sites

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
